Get ready for a costume experience you won’t forget, because next week is Spirit Week! Hosted by SGA, every day is a new day to dress up for a particular theme.

To kick off Spirit Week, Pajama Day is on Monday. Wear your favorite flannel pajamas, slippers, or even a onesie to get decked out.

Tuesday is Twin Day, so here’s your chance to grab your best friend and raid your closets. It can be as simple as white Converse, jeans, and a t-shirt, so don’t be afraid to participate!

Since the demand was too high-ranking for this theme, Throwback Day is throwing it back on Wednesday! Dress up as a 20’s flapper, a 50’s greaser, a 70’s disco hit, or even an 80’s neon idol.

Thursday is Tacky Tourist Day, so don’t forget your polaroid camera, khaki shorts, t-shirt button down, sunglasses, and a big hat!

Last but not least is Husky Day. Show your Heritage pride by wearing sports merchandise, club t-shirts, or anything navy, green, and silver!

Spirit week is in anticipation of the homecoming dance, so be sure to buy your tickets! Tickets will be sold in the morning and during each lunch from now until next Friday, October 13th, and they’re only 10 bucks a pop! Your invitations don’t even have to be limited to a fellow Husky, by filling out the form online or in front of the SGA board, you can ask someone from another high school to go, too.

At the SGA table, they will be selling homecoming t-shirts for 10 bucks, but supplies are limited, so get one while it lasts!

Friday night is the homecoming game against Wakefield. With concessions, a great halftime band show, club banners, and the crowning of the homecoming king and queen, you won’t want to miss out. Kickoff is at 7pm, and tickets are seven dollars, so be sure to come out for a grand time.

Last but not least, the homecoming dance! Heritage High School will be hosting the “Light Up the Night” dance from 7-11, packed with decorations, an awesome DJ, and food!
