Celebrities, comedy, and food: three things the average millennial can’t get enough of. Lucky for them, VH1 released a trailer for Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party, a show hosted by best-selling author and household name Martha Stewart and rapper Snoop Dogg that is sure to combine all three.
Announced in August 2016 and set to air on November 7, Stewart and the Dogg’s weekly dinner parties will consist of what VH1 describes as an “evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits” with celebrity guests. “Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way,” Stewart explained. Needless to say, November 7 can’t come fast enough.
This won’t be the first collaboration between the two celebs–Snoop has appeared on The Martha Stewart Show a number of times over the years (view this clip of them making mashed potatoes), and they appeared as contestants on an episode of ABC’s $100,000 Pyramid in July. When talking about the pair’s new project, Snoop Dogg said, “My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”
Tune in to VH1 on November 7 at 10 pm to catch the premiere. In the words of VH1 President Chris McCarthy, “Good parties are filled with fun, food and unexpected guests. Wait til you see what happens at ‘Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party’; it will be unforgettable.”
