Heritage had a very exciting week of spring sports going 6-3 across all varsity sports. Missed any of it? You’re in the right place. Below, we’ve organized our updates from each of the five major sports into individual sections. Each section includes a mini-recap, scores, and a player of the week. Scores and stats are derived from MaxPreps. Unfortunately, many other schools have failed to submit scores on MaxPreps, so the standings in lacrosse may not be accurate. Let us know if we need to make a correction.

Varsity Men’s Lacrosse

The Men’s Lacrosse team had a mixed week this week. On Tuesday the men defeated Rolesville 15-7 and on Friday they fell to Wakefield 13-10. While the Huskies did drop the finale of the week at Wakefield, improvement can be found. The Huskies lost to Wakefield 14-5 on March 4th and only lost by 3 on Friday night. NOTE: Very few scores have been summited across Conference 4 so Maxpreps, so it is likely that the standings are not completely accurate.

Conference 4 Standings:  1. Broughton (10-0, 12-0), 2. Wakefield (9-2, 8-2), 3. Leesville Road (8-2, 6-1), 4. Millbrook (5-3, 6-4), 5. Enloe (3-4, 8-4), 6. Huskies (3-5, 4-7), 7. Sanderson (1-6, 3-7)8. Garner Magnet (0-7, 1-10)

The Huskies next take the field at Millbrook on Tuesday afternoon. NOTE: other teams on MaxPreps have failed to submit non-conference scores, so the standings are probably off.
