CARY- Today, the Wake County Public Schools System and software powerhouse Microsoft announced a landmark deal that will bring Windows 10, it’s most up-to-date operating system, to all Wake County schools within the next decade.
“We plan to start rolling out Windows 10 to all Wake County Public Schools System schools, starting in the year 2025,” Microsoft revealed in a statement.
Windows 10 was released to the public last year. Praised for it’s ease of use, Windows 10 combines all of the best features of Microsoft’s past operating systems into one. Microsoft reports that millions of people are already using the new operating system.
“We take great pride in arming our students with the best technology as soon as it becomes available. We are proud to bring Windows 10 to all of our schools in the near future,” WCPSS said in a corresponding statement.
